Job Description
The Senior Specialist, Contract Management, within the HHDDA Data Acquisition and Activation organization, provides governance, management and consultative collaboration engaging with the business, suppliers and Alliance partners on data sharing permissions, contract data asset metadata and system integration to create an advanced data ecosystem while managing design, creation and update of SOPs, templates, etc. This position maintains documentation, plans and timelines related to the contract system development and integration projects.
This role will matrix-manage a team of personnel in the coordination of various business area requirements from conception to completion. Direct communication is required with functional business owners, IT personnel, data stewards, Procurement, Knowledge Management and other key personnel. This position works directly with external vendors and Alliance partners to develop new governance processes as well as implement ongoing operational process.
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of (3) years Pharmaceutical data and/or analytics related experience
Ability to handle conflicting and changing priorities
Working knowledge of database application development (I/T development or Business owner requirements)
Preferred Experience and Skills
Experience managing and executing contract compliance
Vendor management experience
Experience working with data libraries and contracting systems
Education Minimum Requirement
BA/BS Required
MA/MS/MBA Desired
Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following
Provide point responsibility for execution and central storage of statement of works, amendments, sample & co-promote agreements and customer data sharing agreements
Partner with the Contracting team members, Data Strategy, Compliance and IT to develop and drive utilization of the centralized contracting system
Management of contracted data asset metadata inputs, updates, enhancements, and integration with Knowledge Management team and IT
Engage and collaborate with Alliance partners to govern and inform business of data assets contractually permitted to be shared with and received from Alliance partners
Execute and manage Third Party Agreements and data sharing permissions for all global data assets.
Update contracting SOPs and work instructions to ensure processes are maintained to reflect adaptive governance and best practices.
Additional responsibilities include and are not limited to the following
Develop and manage a system of contracting clauses and templates.
Engage and collaborate with contract compliance team members and stakeholders on capturing critical data asset metadata to show evidence of compliance to contract permissions/restrictions, company's policy and privacy requirements.
Support the ongoing development and adoption of Discover.
