Roles and responsibilities

Our leaders play a crucial role in driving the performance and growth of our people. As part of the ING University you will lead on this core strategic topic, enhancing our global reach and consistency.

To equip our leaders for an increasingly digital, global and diverse organisational context, you will drive the update and renewal of our leadership development solutions to align with the expectations placed on our leaders.

From analysis, strategy through to delivery you will partner with the Head of Growth & Careers, broader Talent & Learning team, business leaders and key stakeholders and

• Set a clear direction for our talent and leadership development solutions, grounded in analysing, diagnosing and addressing leadership challenges that cut across ING Bank.

• Develop, implement, communicate and measure targeted talent & leadership development solutions for our talent segments across different learning modalities and leveraging the new learning technologies avail
• Drive the next phase of existing programs, tracking momentum and impact on alumni across diverse business lines, geographies and functions.
• Enrich our talent and leadership development solutions with principles of inclusive leadership.
• Ensure a consistent employee experience is delivered through the global team, country-based partners and with the right operational delivery model in place.
• Take ownership for building, recommending and sustaining partnerships with leading external partners, ensuring business relevance, demonstrable outcomes, quality and value for money.
• Act as a strategic business partner and adviser on all talent development and leadership development matters.
• Continually engage and upskill the global, matrixed team who contribute to the success of talent development and leadership development initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to diagnose, design and implement innovative, business relevant and employee focused solutions that deliver real results.
• Demonstrated expertise in effective talent & leadership development practices, including new learning technologies at scale and setting up a centralised operational support model.
• Significant project and program management experience with ability to  balance multiple projects in various stages of design and delivery.
• Ability to influence, involve, empower and encourage stakeholders across all levels of a complex, matrixed organisation and ability to build a broad network of productive and strong working relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance diplomacy and challenge.
• A global perspective with sensitivity to multiple and diverse cultures
• Experience managing and being accountable for a budget.
