Job Description – The project manager will be working on EHR project. Duties will include the creation of all necessary project documentation such as business case workbooks, project charters and schedule, biennial operating plans and amendments, requirements gathering, coordination, reporting, planning, researching, coordinating, evaluating project management , developing data conversion & migration plans and implementation strategy. Work with business owners, IT to oversee the solution vendor managing application/data migration efforts, assuring the use of best practices and standards, assisting in the coordination and optimization of HHSC operations and program functions and providing recommendations. The project manager should act as liaison between business users and vendors to provide required information. Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Need to have EHR domain experience and good to have implementation experience. Good to have technical knowledge about databases, data migration etc.
