Job Title: Guest Services - Ticket Scanner
Status: Full-Time, Seasonal, Non-Exempt Hourly
Reporting To: Manager of Guest Services
Powder Mountain is currently building our 24/25 winter season Guest Services Team! The Ticket Scanner position will ensure our guests are using the correct ski ticket to access Powder Mountain and Powder Haven. This position will require strong knowledge of Powder Mountains terrain, lift operations status, and ticket availability.
Job Performance Expectations:
- Scan tickets of guests in lift line.
- Mentor and train newly hired team members.
- Abide to Powder Mountain uniform, grooming, and conduct code.
- Exemplify a cheerful outlook and willingness to assist guests of all ages and abilities.
- Shovel snow when needed.
- Answer questions about terrain.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
· Experience working in guest facing role.
· Desire to be positive and motivated during busy season and inclement weather.
· Desire to work at 9,000ft in exposed weather conditions.
· Ability to work early mornings for lift start up.
· Communicate professionally with all Powder Mountain departments.
· Be polite and friendly to team members, other departments, and guests.
· 18 years of age or older.
· Ability to work occasional overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays as requested.
· Great attitude, positive mindset.
· Ability to ski/snowboard to all lift located throughout Powder Mountain.
