Server Assistant - Pier Teaki

Pier Teaki is perched at the edge of the St. Pete Pier and a proud part of the Teak and Birchwood family. We are seeking team members who share our enthusiasm for this commitment to join us at our rooftop tiki bar. 

Essential Functions:

• Perform perimeter sweep at beginning & end of shift
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
• Ensure that every area is both clean and maintained throughout shift
• Assist servers by refilling beverages, bussing, and resetting tables
• Assist in running food
• Inform management immediately of dissatisfied guests
• Maintains professional, composed and calm demeanor at all times
• Completes all side-work as directed.

Qualifications:

• Full-Service Restaurant Kitchen Experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to be organized in a changing environment
• Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor during periods of uncertainty or crisis

Physical Requirements:

• Stands during entire shift
• Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, pours, carries, and pushes
• Lifts and carries tubs, trays, and cases weighing up to 25 lbs. up to 20 times per shift
• Frequent exposure to high temperatures, humidity and cold
