IT Device Consultant

<h2>Overview</h2> <p></p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking our new <strong>IT Device Consultant </strong>to join the Axway team to help us with site and device migration.</p> <p>This is a <strong>9 months CDD contract</strong> position! </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users for desktop hardware, software, and peripheral issues, both in-person and remotely.</li> <li>Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), productivity software (Microsoft 365, etc.), and other business-critical applications.</li> <li>Deploy and manage software using deployment tools.</li> <li>Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure a secure desktop environment.</li> <li>Document all support tickets and solutions in our help desk system.</li> <li>Assist with IT asset management, including tracking inventory and managing the lifecycle of hardware.</li> <li>Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and contribute to infrastructure projects.</li> <li>Create and maintain user guides and knowledge base articles to empower end-users.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>Proven experience in a desktop support or IT help desk role.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).</li> <li>Familiarity with Entra ID, Active Directory, and user account management.</li> <li>Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and customer-service-oriented approach.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Ability to travel is a plus</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Company Overview</strong> </p> <p>At Axway, we’re more than a company—we’re a pioneer.
