Finance Coordinator

 

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

 

£30,222 - £31,813 per year

 

35 hours per week – Monday to Friday

 

We are seeking a Finance Coordinator to join our team based in Worcester. The job sits within Group Financial Services which is responsible for all aspects of central accounting for the Group.

 

The role of Finance Coordinator will include:

  • Managing effective administration systems to support delivery of services including coordinating content to support the year end accounts process
  • Coordinating and managing finance processes and associated meetings, including coordinating diaries and reports
  • Coordinating a large volume of work across a number of entities including finance reports and business continuity planning (BCP) activities.
  • Maintaining effective financial systems by operating within appropriate financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Providing managers and colleagues with clear guidance and advice, in response to finance related queries

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification is desirable
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
  • Working knowledge of coordination and management of meetings and events
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Good communication skills
