About the role
<p>The Department of Business & Management (DBM) at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) invites applications for one or more positions as Teaching Associate Professor. The positions are located at SDU’s Campus in Odense or Kolding and are vacant from 15th November 2025 or as agreed.</p><p><strong>Job description</strong><br/>The research and teaching activities at the department are organized within six groups: Accounting; Centre for Integrative Innovation Management; Consumption, Culture and Commerce; Finance; International Business & Entrepreneurship and Strategic Organization Design.</p><p>It is the aim of the department to conduct research of the highest international standard documented through: </p><ol><li>publications in internationally distinguished journals </li><li>presentations at international conferences </li><li>dissemination with high visibility and broad social impact. </li></ol><p>Furthermore, the department emphasizes offering high-quality research-based teaching using the newest teaching methods to enhance students' learning. </p><p>The successful applicant will be responsible for the teaching of courses in accounting and auditing and supervision of students at both the BSc and MSc levels. Most teaching and supervision will be in Danish, so it will be an advantage, if the applicants are able to speak and write Danish at an advanced level.</p><p>The accounting group is located in Odense and Kolding; see our <a href="https://www.sdu.dk/en/forskning/forskningsenheder/samf/accounting" target="_blank">webpage</a> for more information.</p><p>The successful candidate should have a master’s degree within social sciences or a cross-disciplinary degree with a significant social science contribution.</p><p>The successful candidate will be expected to contribute actively to the social and academic lives at the department and should thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment that seeks to contribute to a broad academic dialogue.
