About the Role
The Director of System Integration and Process Innovation is responsible for fostering interdepartmental collaboration and optimizing the organization’s Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes through system enhancements and process improvements. This position serves as a critical link between internal teams and external software vendors to develop a comprehensive, user-friendly system supporting the entire RCM cycle, from authorizations through billing and collections.
The individual in this role will lead efforts to drive operational efficiency, ensure effective communication across teams, and oversee the development and execution of strategies to improve revenue systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Interdepartmental Collaboration:
- Act as a central resource for directors across departments to identify process bottlenecks and ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals.
- Facilitate cross-functional initiatives to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
- Systems Integration and Development:
- Collaborate with software vendors to design and implement a fully integrated system that supports the RCM cycle, ensuring usability and functionality for all stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritize system requirements to streamline processes from authorizations to collections.
- Process Improvement:
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce inefficiencies within the RCM cycle.
- Develop and implement best practices for interdepartmental workflows and procedures.
- Revenue Cycle Management (RCM):
- Review the RCM lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of authorizations, claims, billing, and collections.
- Analyze RCM data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with Department Leaders when Trends are identified and improvements are needed.
- Strategic Planning and Innovation:
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize revenue systems and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Partner with leadership to identify and implement innovative solutions for long-term operational success.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Masters is a plus
- Strategic thinking and the ability to implement solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in managing data-driven decision-making processes.
