Provide the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) with expert PTC Windchill Business Administration and CAD data management by overseeing, managing, and configuring enterprise PLM environments, optimizing Creo Parametric and SolidWorks model structures, and resolving complex technical issues. This role mentors team members across all experience levels in PLM/CAD best practices while maintaining task documentation and status reporting to the customer.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage various process initiatives.
• Configure and maintain enterprise-level Windchill environments, including Object Initialization Rules (OIRs), Lifecycles, Softtype attributes, Access Control Policies, Team Templates, and Organization Administration.
• Analyze, structure, and load complex Creo Parametric and SolidWorks models into Windchill, ensuring metadata accuracy, model integrity, and proper assembly structures.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve CAD and PDM/PLM data errors, recommending and implementing process improvements to optimize data quality and user workflows.
• Mentor senior and junior-level staff on PTC Windchill Business Administration topics and PLM/CAD best practices. Document and track Team tasks and report the status of tasks back to the customer
Minimum Requirements:
• Ph.D. preferably in Science, Engineering, or Business with 84 - 90 months (7 - 7.5 years) of full-time work experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
• 8+ years of full-time verifiable work experience using PTC Windchill for CAD Data Management.
• US citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications:
• Ph.D. or professional equivalent with 84 - 90 months (7 - 7.5 years) of full-time work experience.
• Experience working in or supporting a Federal Defense organization.
• Knowledge of Object Initialization Rules (OIRs), Policies, Softtype attributes & lifecycle configuration. Experience with PTC Windchill watermarking and CAD publishing.
