Brevant Seeds Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst, whose role is responsible for building and maintaining Brevant seeds data reporting and process tools. This role will work primarily with functional teams, along with Retail Sales Agronomists, Retail Business Managers, Portfolio Technology Leader, and Business Operations Manager. The role will report to the Functional Support Leader for Brevant seeds brand.
Location: This position can be located anywhere in the U.S.A.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across brand processes, data warehouses, and reporting tools.
- Build enterprise data analytics models using Microsoft Power BI.
- Create self-service models and data analytics solutions utilizing the Power BI service.
- Work with data gateways, data integration, and self-service data preparation.
- Perform root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Automate workflows and processes to enhance efficiency across departments.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and integrated with existing systems.
- Creates and develops user-friendly data analytics products, including standardized reports, self-service data extracts, and dashboards that deliver timely and accurate insights to stakeholders.
- Develop, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards to fulfill business requirements.
- Assist business users in defining functional and data requirements to enhance data models.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or a related study required.
- Possess a strong understanding of data analytics application security models.
- Extensive experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Query, DAX, Paginated Reports, & Power Apps.
- Deep understanding of creating and managing workflows in Power Automate.
- Proficient in Excel functions and macros with knowledge of Visual Basic.
- Desire to continue learning new tools as technology and business needs evolve.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Prioritizes data accuracy
