Job Description

The Business Analyst, Operations & Strategy will serve as a force multiplier within the Growth Products & Partnerships team. The Analyst will ensure information and resources are aligned with priorities, bring order to complexity, and help senior leaders operate more effectively. The Analysts should be comfortable synthesizing disparate information, identifying what matters, and crafting exec-ready materials that distill the signal from the noise.

This role sits within the Business Operations team on Growth Products & Partnerships and supports a portfolio that spans Big Tech clients, Agentic Commerce, Crypto, and emerging product areas. The Analyst will work closely with product and partnership teams and coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, data science, design, and communications) across Visa. This role will support a mix of product and sales operations and infrastructure, performance reporting, and executive‑level preparation.

This position will be based in San Francisco and will report into the Director, Growth Products & Partnerships (Chief of Staff). This is an individual contributor role that requires exceptional communication, strong organization, fluency in efficiency-driving AI tools, and the ability to move quickly across topics. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to messy problems, delivers quickly, and is motivated by making teams more effective.

What You’ll Do

Tracking & Reporting

  • Collect regular status updates and strategic insights across product, partnerships, and cross-functional teams.
  • Synthesize inputs into clear, executive-ready emails, decks, and presentations.
  • Own portfolio tracking and performance reporting, including OKRs, operating metrics, risks, and decisions.
  • Prepare materials for executive updates, QBRs, and planning cycles.

 Sales & Product Operations Support

  • Support sales and product teams by ensuring clear processes, tools, and operating models are in place.
  • Help drive training, enablement, and adoption of tools, processes, and ways of working.
  • Lead periodic data clean ups to maintain good data hygiene and accurate records.

 Project Management

  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables for cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Track action items and owners to keep work moving.
  • Identify risks and gaps early, problem solve, and escalate with context when appropriate.
  • Develop and deploy AI tools to automate work and improve efficiency across the operations portfolio.

 Team Connectivity, Learning & Culture

  • Prepare materials and support team‑wide forums including All Hands, trainings, Lunch & Learns, and team offsites.
  • Help design and deliver a team engagement roadmap of learning, culture-building, and team-bonding opportunities and resources.
  • Support training, communications, and tools that help the team adopt a more efficient and agile AI-enabled way of working.

 What Success Looks Like

  • Executive decisions are informed by a continuous feedback loop from clients, products, and teams, grounded in high‑fidelity data and firsthand insights.
  • Senior leaders receive consistently high‑quality, executive‑ready materials that clearly distill signal from noise.
  • Data, trackers, and reporting systems are clean, current, and accurate, and trusted as a source of truth.
  • Tools, reporting, and insights help the organization anticipate issues and opportunities, rather than reacting after the fact.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
