Your journey towards reshaping the digital landscape starts here.<br/></p><p><strong>AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain Python/ODBC/JDBC Drivers</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain other Snowflake Drivers and language SDKs, supporting many technologies within multiple platforms</p></li><li><p>Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing on the long term vision for our product(s)</p></li><li><p>Work in an open source projects and help grow the Snowflake developer community</p></li><li><p>Mentor and coach junior team members</p></li><li><p>Lead cross-driver / company-wide initiatives</p></li><li><p>Participate in on-call activities</p></li></ul><p><strong>OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:</strong></p><ul><li><p>6+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large scale systems.</p></li><li><p>Experience with high performance and scalable software in an internet scale distributed cloud environment. </p></li><li><p>Fluency in Python and/or C++/Java.</p></li><li><p>Experience with RDBMS and fluent knowledge of SQL language.</p></li><li><p>Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in a cloud environment. </p></li><li><p>Systems programming skills including multi-threading, concurrency, etc.</p></li><li><p>Great communication skills, both verbal and written, and an interest in working with a diverse set of peers and external stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a hybrid work model in our Warsaw office. </p></li></ul><p><strong>BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:</strong></p><ul><li><p>SQL or other database technologies including internal design and implementation.</p></li><li><p>Experience or knowledge in designing and building customer-facing distributed web services and APIs (e.g. REST, RPC, GraphQL).</p></li><li><p>Experience in Node.js, Go, .NET, PHP</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
