Experience you'll need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or application operations supporting large-scale, high-availability software platforms.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting mission-critical systems, including incident management, advanced troubleshooting, and production support in a regulated or highly controlled environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Windows and/or Linux servers, middleware technologies (such as IIS or equivalent), databases, and enterprise application stacks.
  • Experience with system monitoring, observability, automation, and performance optimization using enterprise tools and scripts (for example, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (such as Microsoft Azure or equivalent), networking concepts, load balancing, and secure system design.
  • 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience supporting digital payment or financial services platforms, including high-volume transaction processing systems.
  • Experience working within formal change, release, and incident management processes aligned to IT service management practices.
  • Experience with security, audit, and regulatory compliance controls related to financial data protection.
  • Experience implementing or supporting infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, or continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
