About CookUnity

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 35 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.

About The Role

As a Growth Data Analyst at CookUnity, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our acquisition funnel and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies. You will partner closely with Growth Project Managers, Product teams, and Traffic Strategy stakeholders to uncover insights, optimize user journeys, and fuel growth through data-driven experimentation.

This role demands a proactive analyst who thrives in high-growth environments, is passionate about user behavior analytics, and has a strong command of both technical tools and business acumen. You'll be at the heart of our efforts to improve funnel performance, ensuring that every step from traffic acquisition to customer conversion is optimized for impact.

What You’ll Do In 12 Months

  • Analyze and Optimize Funnel Performance:

Deep-dive into user acquisition funnels to identify drop-off points, friction areas, and opportunities for CRO. Provide actionable insights that directly improve conversion rates and customer acquisition efficiency.

  • Collaborate on Traffic Strategy:

Work alongside Traffic and Marketing teams to assess campaign performance, traffic sources, and user behaviors. Influence strategies that drive high-quality traffic and improve ROI.

  • Lead Data-Driven Experiments:

Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments across the acquisition funnel. Partner with Product Managers to iterate rapidly and validate hypotheses that enhance user experience and conversion.

  • Develop Self-Service Dashboards:

Build intuitive dashboards in Tableau to empower stakeholders with real-time visibility into funnel metrics, test results, and growth KPIs. Enable teams to make informed decisions without constant data team intervention.

  • Enhance Event Tracking & Data Quality:

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and implement robust event tracking using tools like Segment. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all growth-related datasets.

  • Define Metrics & Customer Segments:

Establish clear metric frameworks and segmentation strategies to better understand user behavior and personalize the acquisition journey.

  • Be a Strategic Partner:

Act as a trusted advisor to Growth, Marketing, and Product teams by translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives that drive action.

  • Drive a Culture of Experimentation:

Promote data literacy and a test-and-learn mindset across the organization, helping teams embrace continuous optimization.
