About the role

Director of Product Management – RV & Camping

We’re looking for a seasoned Director of Product Management with deep B2B SaaS experience to lead the product portfolio for our RV & Camping vertical. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving product strategy, managing a suite of operational tools used by thousands of parks, and coaching a team of passionate product managers. You'll be accountable for delivering exceptional customer value while steering the roadmap across core systems such as PMS, booking engine, payments, integrations and more

You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, and operations—and serve as the key bridge between market opportunity, user needs, and business outcomes. Your success will be measured by how well your product strategy drives adoption, satisfaction, and revenue growth, while simplifying complex workflows for both independent parks and enterprise campground groups.

What You Will Do Everyday

Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership

  • Own the strategic direction for the PMS platform serving RV parks, campgrounds, and resorts—from independents to multi-property enterprises.
  • Drive the business performance of your portfolio: revenue, profitability, churn reduction, and customer growth.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to modernize legacy workflows, solve for user pain points, and unlock scalable revenue.
  • Lead build/buy/partner decisions to accelerate feature depth (e.g., guest experience, energy meters, accounting integrations).

Roadmap Planning & Execution

  • Develop and communicate a clear, customer-centric product roadmap aligned with business and market needs.
  • Prioritize development across core modules (PMS, booking engine, payments, integrations etc.) to maximize platform value.
  • Set and track Quarterly Objectives for strategic initiatives that address usability, feature gaps, and retention levers.
  • Oversee lifecycle planning—from feature intake to deprecation—and ensure delivery meets market expectations.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with engineering, design, QA, and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment on product vision.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and CS to support go-to-market motions and customer success.
  • Lead internal rollout and readiness efforts across support and implementation teams for major releases.
  • Represent the PMS product at customer councils, trade shows, and executive briefings.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Manage, coach, and grow a team of product managers and senior PMs who own key modules within the PMS suite.
  • Foster a high-performance product culture that values curiosity, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
  • Guide PMs on customer problem discovery, data-informed prioritization, and continuous product improvement.
  • Create a strong succession pipeline and scale team structure to match business needs.

Customer & Market Research

  • Conduct VoC research to capture feedback from park operators, front desk staff, operations managers, and revenue teams.
  • Use competitive insights and industry trends to inform roadmap prioritization and go-to-market positioning.
  • Stay close to the evolving needs of the RV & Camping sector—including changing guest expectations, staffing challenges, and digital transformation trends.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Align product priorities with executive leadership, revenue targets, and company-wide goals.
  • Provide visibility into portfolio performance, roadmap progress, and customer impact.
  • Drive strategic alignment across departments, and champion the product vision both internally and externally.

What You Need to Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, including 3+ years managing PMs.
  • Proven track record owning a complex product portfolio, with measurable impact on revenue, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality tech, especially property management and booking software ecosystem
  • Ability to simplify and modernize complex systems while maintaining flexibility and feature depth.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable influencing C-level leaders and speaking with customers.
  • Strategic mindset with a data-informed, outcomes-oriented approach to decision-making.
  • Comfortable working in an agile product development environment with cross-function
