Senior Billing & AR Specialist

Overview:

The Sr. Billing & AR Specialist is responsible for administration of our billing/contract management system as well as the integration between this system and our software application that drives billing. This includes analysis of customer accounts for monthly usage, manual or bulk processing through our billing/contract management system to generate invoices as well as being an integral part of our collections process. We are a technology company and seek opportunities to leverage technology and innovation to solve for the core operational functions of the business. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Billing:

• Review executed contract agreements and input into billing/contact management system
• Maintain customer account mapping between contracts and customer ids in our application
• Review reconciliation reports between our application and our billing/contract management system
• Bulk processing of updates to customer accounts
• Process bill runs within our billing/contact management system and auto-send invoices
• Utilize various systems to compile support to validate invoices for customers

Accounts receivables:

• Generate monthly revenue and AR reports from our billing/contract management system
• Securely handle all customer data and payment information
• Collection of outstanding receivables, reduce current DSO
• Communicate with finance leadership as needed regarding overdue account statuses
• Directly communicate with customers to streamline collections, whether by email or phone

Customer support:

• Maintain customer contact details in the billing/contract management system
• Respond to customer questions on invoices
• Work closely with our Account Management team to ensure timely contracting of renewals and resolution of customer inquiries

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work and communicate effectively with others in a diverse, multiethnic, and multicultural work environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in billing/contact management systems (we currently use Maxio) and Microsoft Excel

• 4+ years of experience working in a billing environment and managing collections
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience in the technology industry a plus, but not required
• Must be located in either Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone
• A combination of professional or educational experience (whether formal or informal) that affords you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities above

Compensation Range:

• $60,709 to $74,199 + DOE
