Long-Term Substitute Teacher, 5th Grade ELA -- Howland Local Schools

Position: 

• Long-Term Substitute Teacher � Grade 5 English Language Arts (ELA)

Assignment Duration: 

• 2026�2027 School Year

Location: 

• Howland Intermediate School

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio teaching license required.
• Preferred licensure: K�8, 1�8, K�5, Early Childhood Generalist (Grades 4�5), or English Language Arts (Grades 4�9).
• Candidates holding Ohio licensure in English (Grades 7�12), English Language Arts (Grades 7�12), Intervention Specialist (K�12), or Reading (K�12) will also be considered.

Salary:

• Per Board-approved substitute pay schedule for Days 1�60.
• Beginning on Day 61, compensation will increase to the Step 0 teacher per diem rate for the remainder of the assignment.
