As Senior Team Lead Outfitting, you will play a crucial role in the outfitting aspect of our projects. From the pre-basic engineering phase to the detailed engineering phase, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality engineering output. Apply now to be part of our innovative projects and contribute to our continued success!<br/><br/><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</b><br/>As Senior Team Lead Outfitting, your key responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Lead an outfitting engineering team during the basic and detailed engineering phases of shipbuilding projects.</li><li>Control the detailed engineering of outsourced packages, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.</li><li>Advise on work breakdown structures and allocate man-hour budgets effectively.</li><li>Deliver high-quality engineering work on time, meeting project requirements.</li><li>Supervise engineering team activities within 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or Catia.</li><li>Integrate vendor and subcontractor information, perform technical analysis on offers, and support design checks and reviews.</li><li>Monitor and control man-hours spent and provide progress reports to the Project Manager Engineering.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and specifications.</li><li>Contribute to the department's development by developing and describing standards and working methods.<br/> </li></ul><p><b>SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE</b><br/>To excel as Senior Team Lead Outfitting, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field combined with at least five years of experience in outfitting systems engineering.</li><li>Proficiency in 2D and 3D systems, preferably Cadmatic or Catia, with experience in ships or offshore installations.</li><li>Experience in leading mid-size engineering teams of up to ten people and structuring work packages effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of class and statutory rules and regulations such as SOLAS, Lloyds Register, and DNV.</li><li>Experience in working with vendors, subcontractors, and Good Engineering Practices, with a strong focus on quality and budget awareness.</li><li><span>Good command of the Dutch, German and English language both written and verbal.</span></li><li>Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.</li><li>Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required and candidates with NL/EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>WHAT WE OFFER</b><br/>At Damen Naval, we highly value our employees, and we will support your professional and personal development.
