Reporting to the Manager, Production Engineering, the Machine Maintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of advanced manufacturing equipment. This includes troubleshooting and repairing CNC, injection molding, and specialized Chemkey equipment, developing preventive maintenance plans, and mentoring junior technicians. The role plays a key part in ensuring high machine uptime and operational excellence in a mission-driven environment.

This position is part of the Maintenance Department located in Loveland, Colorado, and will be on-site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Troubleshooting and repairing CNC mills/lathes and injection molding machines
• Performing expert-level Preventive Maintenance tasks
• Developing work plans for emergency repairs
• Leading and auditing maintenance procedures
• Coaching and supporting less experienced technicians
• Promoting continuous improvement through Kaizen and DBS initiatives

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 4+ years of experience in a similar technician role
• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing CNC and injection molding machines (nice to have).
• Strong mechanical and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical information effectively
