Aspirations Care has been supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs since 2004. Our mission is to empower individuals to lead full, independent, and meaningful lives. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Cluster Team Leader to oversee Supported Living services in Worcester.
This is a pivotal role requiring a compassionate, proactive leader with a strong background in adult social care and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Role Overview
As a Cluster Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of support staff to ensure consistent, effective, and empathetic care across multiple Supported Living settings. This includes both administrative coordination and direct support, ensuring that the needs, rights, and aspirations of the individuals we support are always prioritised.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing leadership, guidance, and ongoing supervision to frontline staff
Coordinating rotas, planning daily operations, and ensuring staffing levels meet service requirements
Facilitating team meetings and participating in person-centred planning and reviews
Supporting service users in developing independence and community integration
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, incident reporting, and medication procedures
Conducting audits and promoting high standards in health and safety
Delivering hands-on care where required, modelling best practice
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an individual who is confident, organised, and capable of motivating others. You will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a strong understanding of the challenges and rewards associated with supporting adults with complex needs.
Essential Criteria:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards this qualification)
Previous experience in a team leader, senior support, or supervisory role
Strong working knowledge of relevant care standards and best practice
Familiarity with safeguarding protocols, first aid, and moving & handling procedures
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle (travel required between services)
