Junior Financial Analyst

The F&A team comprises multiple functions from Financials Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury and Operations. Together, the team optimizes our global finance initiatives and enjoys being detailed-oriented while multitasking across various exciting project scopes

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day payment processing and bank account funds flows
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of bank reconciliations for all treasury accounts
• Daily reconciliations of cash books, debit card deposits and withdrawals, chargebacks, and connection errors
• Analyze historical data and market trends to accurately forecast cash flows and optimize liquidity positions
• Review of cash reconciliations to aid in the processing journal entries related to cash movements and payments
• Processing of deposits and withdrawals from customer accounts
• Preparation of daily Segregation Statement
• Manage Treasury inbox and Salesforce relating to member specific inquiries
• Assistance with preparing KPIs, daily and monthly reporting and analysis of member balances and trading
• Completion of project work such as automation of daily/monthly processes to improve efficiency
• Preparation of ad-hoc analysis
• Assistance with various administrative tasks as needed
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepaids, property, and intercompany accounts
• Work directly with US Treasurer, US Senior Accountant and Accounting Associate on daily and monthly processing
• Support Finance team with ad hoc work surrounding Crypto.com entities
• Assistance with various administrative tasks as needed
• Help manage Accounts Payable including purchase order creation, invoice review/submission, payment processing
• Ensure timely processing of vendor payments to keep accounts current
• Maintain supplier database keeping addresses, TINs and banking details current
• Contribute toward development of processes in new Finance structure under Crypto.com
• Performance of internal control procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy of books and records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with quality academic performance
• 0-1 years in Finance experience
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Quick learner and motivated self-starter
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, regulated environment
• Works well with others and is comfortable communicating with all levels
• Ability to efficiently manage large amounts of data, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Interest in financial markets/crypto is a must
