Summary:

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support our Air Force customer and the B-52 program. This position can be remote with some travel to Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. 

 

HII-Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

What You Will Do:

The Senior Electronics Engineer for DoD aircraft modification programs is responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic systems for the aircraft. This also includes:

• Conducting system-level analysis and design of electronic systems, including power distribution, signal processing, and control systems.
• Developing and reviewing technical documentation, including system requirements, design documents, and test plans.
• Coordinating with other engineers and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Conducting testing and evaluation of electronic systems to ensure that they meet performance and safety requirements.
• Providing technical guidance and support to other team members.
• Participating in design reviews and other technical meetings to ensure that all requirements are being met.
• Managing technical risks and identifying potential issues before they become problems.
• Ensuring that all electronic systems meet safety and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in realted field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Experience with systems design, systems integration, and systems T&E, and risk management.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with systems design, systems integration, and systems T&E, and risk management for DoD aircraft modification programs.
• Aerospace/aircraft PNT, GPS, and/or Comm/Nav systems similar knowledge experience is highly desired
