STATUS: Non-exempt, salaried, full-time
LOCATION: Chicago, Illinois, (Hybrid/in-office schedule)
SALARY RANGE: $44,770 - $59,400 (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Program Coordinator to serve a critical role in coordinating and carrying out program support, administration, and collaboration with provider partner agencies for the Coordinated Entry System. The Coordinated Entry System is responsible for identifying and assessing the needs of people experiencing homelessness and connecting them to housing and resources. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Chicago homeless service system. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage various activities and responsibilities simultaneously. The Program Coordinator will hold primary responsibility for planning and coordinating housing access events for people experiencing homelessness who are prioritized for housing per the Coordinated Entry System Prioritization Plan.

Position Responsibilities:
- Plans and implements in-person housing access events (including Accelerated Moving Events) for people experiencing homelessness, including coordinating event space, scheduling staff and partner agencies, and overseeing event operations.
- Provides crisis intervention as needed.
- Refers people experiencing homelessness to housing programs, adhering to the current Coordinated Entry System Prioritization Plan.
- Develops and delivers training materials and resources for housing providers.
- Works collaboratively with internal and external partners to problem-solve when barriers arise.
- Creates and implements tools for monitoring Coordinated Entry System referral data trends and outcomes.
- Implements Coordinated Entry System policies related to referrals, housing transfers, data entry, and grievances.
- Coordinates and facilitates System Integration Team meetings, supporting the case conferencing of participants referred to housing through Coordinated Entry.
- Completes timely and accurate data entry in HMIS, iCarol, and other databases as required.
- Generates reports on program activities and outcomes for funders and other stakeholders/
- Provide technical assistance by presenting information, discussing challenges, and identifying needs.
- Develops understanding of HUD and Chicago CoC rules and regulations related to Coordinated Entry; creates materials to support others in understanding how to demonstrate compliance with them.
- Plans, schedules, and facilitates workgroup meetings with external partners; takes meeting minutes
