This exciting position will drive all strategic projects within the Enabling Technologies Marketing function that are aimed at improving how we operate as a high-performing team and organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Marketing, the Senior Program Manager will collaborate with their peers across the leadership team to identify new strategies that optimize how we work, prioritize those strategies, then initiate projects to implement these strategies as new ways of working. Finally, this resource will also act as a ‘Chief of Staff’ for the Enabling Technologies Marketing Leadership Team.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Building operating mechanisms focused on maximizing our portfolio gross margin, notably through strategic pricing and lifecycle management initiatives

  • Identifying new approaches to strategic portfolio planning that maximize mid and long term revenue growth

  • Standardize how we conduct market analyses to build consistency and maintain appropriate market segmentation and financial modeling.

  • Manages and improve governance processes within the marketing function

  • Partners with other functional leaders and teams to better integrate marketing activities into shared enterprise work

  • Identify new standard work that makes it easier for Marketers to execute their initiatives quickly and efficiently

  • In collaboration with the leadership team, identifies new personal and professional development opportunities for Marketers to up-skill talent and build a culture focused on growth mindset

  • Facilitates leadership team meetings: prioritizes agenda, topics for discussion, and points of decision making.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or advanced degree

  • HIGHLY collaborative; ability to quickly develop relationships, build trust, and communicate well in all directions across the organization

  • Strong process orientation and an appreciation for the intersection of strategy, structure, and process.

  • Experience developing and leading projects, programs, and/or cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills

  • Exposure to global healthcare markets and the global economy

  • Strong financial and business acumen; understands a P&L and the financial levers that drive it, and has experience in market segmentation and financial modeling

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$158,400.00 - $237,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in Calif
