Senior Specialist Finance&General Administration

Purpose / Overall Relevance for the organization:
Ensuring a well-functional local organization in the Klagenfurt office, and act as the interface between related Departments at HQ in Herzogenaurach and the other Austrian subsidiaries (4 Stores; Vienna Marketing Office; Showroom Salzburg).
Key responsibilities:
- support the Director General Administration in all areas of responsibilities for all administrative tasks in the fields of Tax, Finance, GBS, Insurance, Legal and Governmental Authorities
- support central accounting in Herzogenaurach in order to make sure that local GAAP guidelines are considered in the monthly, quarterly and year end closings
- Risk management: critically and continually review and assess eventual risks (mainly tax and finance related), propose potential solutions and inform Dir. Gen Admin
- Manage and provide requested documentation and answers to external auditors for the yearly financial statement audit and other interim audits (i.e. Tax Audit). Discuss with auditors in case of different accounting opinions to achieve the best possible result and correct in the local GAAP, try to avoid disadvantages for the company, work closely with Group Accounting and Group Tax
- support accounting and controlling for the annual budget and quarterly RFCs for the General Admin Cost centers
- Deliver all mandatory figures and information to Statistik Austria
- Execute the 4-eyes crosschecks with local Payroll colleague for the monthly payroll,
- Consult and coordinate Workplace, Corporate Real Estate, and IT in order to maintain and retain a proper office infrastructure and office Management for all Austrian office locations
- Be the key user for procurement system ARIBA
- Be the first point of contact for public and federal institutions and their administrative questions
- Manage the company car fleet for all Austrian company cars

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft office and ERP systems (specifically SAP)
- good knowledge of finance and accounting and local GAAP
- strong analytical-, problem solving- and investigative skills.
- ability to accept and meet deadlines, involving effective time management capacity.
- fluent in English
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in business, finance or administration or similar (i.e., Handels Akademie)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business- and finance administration
- Knowledge in trade or sports companies preferred.
- Good knowledge in local Austrian tax and accounting
- Flexibility to work partially out of our office in Vienna
