Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
- Enters vendor information into accounting software system; verifies that invoice information is entered correctly.
- Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to accounting departmental procedures
- Comparing purchase orders and the invoices with prices, terms of payment, and other charges
- Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
- Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.
- Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.
- Filing and scanning all support documents for each payment.
- As needed, assists with accounting duties for and corrections to listed financial records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- May travel to other CLS Health clinics as needed.

Requirements
- Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
- Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline preferred.
- At least one years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
