Job Summary:
The Senior Director of Global Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Action (IDEA) is responsible for building, driving and executing VF’s global IDEA strategy to ensure that associate, consumer and community belonging is embedded as a strategic priority across the enterprise. This role will work closely with VF’s senior executive team across brands, regions and functions to craft bespoke strategies addressing each business unit’s most relevant opportunities to advance belonging as a source of a competitive advantage for VF and our brands. This role will report to the Chief Belonging and Talent Officer.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Understand business implications of inclusion, diversity, equity & belonging, and determine the appropriate measures of success that align with business outcomes and the advancement of VF’s culture.
Be the subject matter expert, taking market data research and broad theoretical knowledge to apply principles and establish best practices amongst Senior Leaders to coach, collaborate and identify targeted areas to advance their leadership and team effectiveness.
Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, where diversity is viewed in the broadest sense - including age, ethnicity, gender, appearance, race, physical abilities, religion, social-economic background, political affiliation, sexual orientation, sexual identity, nationality, thinking styles and life experiences, and so forth.
Serve as the lead IDEA subject matter expert and for the global people team including: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, Employee Engagement, Workplace Environments, Internal Communications and our HR Business partners globally.
