About the role:
Samsara’s Partnerships team is the driver of scale for our business, focused on building revenue-driving relationships across our partner ecosystem. This role will specifically focus on Public Sector partnerships as a whole, as well as longer term Public Sector strategy from the partnerships lens, working cross-functionally within Samsara in support of our partner strategy in this market.

In this role, you will:
- Manage a diverse group of established and nascent Samsara partnersRecruit, onboard & manage new strategic partners focused on the Public SectorLead Samsara’s Public Sector Partner go-to-market strategy and initiativesWork across Samsara teams to continue driving Partnerships value for our Public Sector partners and sales teams
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 8-10 years of combined sales & partnership / partner management experience
- 5-7 years of partner management experience
- Direct public sector-specific sales and/or partner management experience
- Strong written & oral communication skills, with the ability to work well with internal & external VP level and above individuals
- Consistent quota (over)achievement in previous roles
An ideal candidate also has:
- Partner management experience in high-growth SaaS and/or technology sales environments
- Experience growing an existing book of partner business as well as hunting and growing net new partner business
- Strategic program development and program management experience
- Ability to work solo and effectively manage ambiguity
- Consistent track record of building complex and dynamic programs and working with sales teams
- Comfort with accountability to multiple internal and external stakeholders, with abilit
