Stainless Tig Welder - Class B

Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm
Pay: $22-$29/hr

Job purpose

TIG weld, polish, fabricate, assemble, and inspect stainless steel food grade products to meet customer requirements and expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Proficient in TIG Welding
• Basic deburring, grinding, and polishing.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Execute job orders per shop floor paperwork including blueprints.
• Complete work within quality and time standards.
• Understand and follow all company safety procedures.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Operate a forklift.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Some technical school preferred.
• 3 to 5 years welding experience preferred.
• TIG stainless steel welding required.
Specialized Knowledge and Experience
• Ability to read tape measure and digital calipers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe manner.
• Understand the proper use of PPE and safe usage of tools.

• Ability to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with management, coworkers, customers, and other outside parties, preferred.
