About the Role

Sellers Dorsey is seeking a PMO Project Management Analyst to provide project coordination and support to the Enterprise Project Management Office, organizing day-to-day activities of the EPMO office and coordinating the planning of meetings and projects events as well as working with key stakeholders, vendors and other EPMO management resources. A significant portion of this position will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects meet business needs and objectives. As a PMO Project Management Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand and document requirements, facilitate communication, and help shape the solutions that deliver value to the business. You will assemble and create key documentation and manage the initiation phase of project requests in order to present meaningful information for assessment by Sellers Dorsey’s EMPO governance. You will also conduct research, requirements gathering, validate scope while working with requestors, vendors and Management, contribute to the creation of status reports and a variety of other project management documents, and work with Administrative Assistants to arrange activities, appointments and meetings. The Project Management Analyst uses existing Enterprise project management standards, processes, policies, and methodologies established by the EPMO to manage timelines, resources and budgets, provides assistance and support to the members of the EPMO problem solving, project planning and coordination, and assists with development and execution of stated goals and objectives.


Please note this position will require to work under Eastern Standard Time hours.


Key Responsibilities


1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, subject matter experts, product owners) to elicit, capture, and define business requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis to gather and understand business needs and objectives.
  • Create detailed business requirements documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and system specifications.

2. Stakeholder Communication and Management:

  • Facilitate regular communication between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that all business requirements are clear, complete, and properly understood.
  • Manage expectations by setting timelines and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and any requirement changes.

3. Business Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work with teams to define solutions that optimize business efficiency and meet strategic goals.
  • Propose changes that can enhance business processes and provide greater value.

4. Collaboration with Technical Teams:

  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure that business requirements are translated into functional and technical specifications.
  • Participate in solution design discussions to ensure requirements are properly implemented.
  • Assist in quality assurance by ensuring that the final solution meets business needs and requirements.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability of business requirements.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate business requirements, project progress, and performance metrics.

6. Change Management:

  • Work closely with change management teams to prepare business stakeholders for new system implementations or process changes.
