This position is for a Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls, working within the Raytheon Operations, and Supply Chain (OSC) Finance organization, supporting the Quality function in the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit (SBU). As a member of the OSC Finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the the Quality functional area’s financials for several programs. Scope of work includes EAC development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly analysis of cost. This includes participating in the control of costs and schedules on contracts that utilize product based EVMS through APEX/SAP EV management reporting tools. You will be required to perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters. The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment, supporting both the Functional organizations as well as ensuring program financial commitments are met, will be fundamental to success in this role. This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis including costs, risks and opportunities at the Program / Business Area level.

  • Perform detailed financial analysis for both total program and mission area cost elements to help define and understand the monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions.

  • Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts.

  • Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Program Analysts in developing rationale for basis of estimates.

  • Development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in APEX/SAP, Budget preparation and monthly Earned Value reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically candidates will have a bachelors and 2 years of related experience or an advanced degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience. Preferred degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.

  • Experience with APEX/SAP or Business Warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance module.

  • Earn Value Management System (EVMS) Certification.

  • Operations / Material Dashboard experience; experience working in a manufacturing environment highly desired.

  • Production, Supply Chain or IMS driven Earned Value.

  • R6Sigma/CORE Certification.

  • Self-starter highly motivated individual with a positive "can do" attitude.

  • Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills required.

  • Ability to multitask and manage workload required.

Additional Information:

  • This position is grade P2, Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls.

  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. 

  • Relocation assistance is not available.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
