Senior Kubernetes & Platform Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Kubernetes & Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating our deployment pipelines using Kubernetes and DevOps principles. You will work closely with developers and other engineers to ensure a smooth and efficient software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain a highly available and scalable Kubernetes infrastructure

• Manage deployments, rollbacks, and scaling of containerized applications using Kubernetes

• Automate software delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools and best practices

• Provide database services to development teams

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to Kubernetes deployments

• Configure and manage container images and registries

• Monitor and optimize the performance and health of the Kubernetes cluster

• Collaborate with developers and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes

• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in Kubernetes and DevOps

• Participate in standby rotation

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Kubernetes administration and deployment

• Proven experience with general Linux and tooling system administration

• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Containerd)

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)

• Experience with GitOps workflows (FluxCD, ArgoCD)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus

• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification
