Senior Product Analyst

We collectively build, plan and fine-tune the technology that drives SumUp and empowers small businesses around the world.</p> <p>As a Senior Product Analyst, you will turn data into insights for growth and product teams to empower them to make better decisions and provide insights to the leadership team, e.g., on the impact of strategic initiatives on the key metrics. The successful candidate is hands-on and strategic, especially when collaborating closely with our product teams, Analytics Engineer, and multiple squads. This means you will be responsible for analyzing how different initiatives contribute to our core OKRs and product strategy, setting up and owning end-to-end dashboard development, including requirements gathering and monitoring, and maintaining existing dashboards in production (Tableau). You will identify opportunities, manage stakeholder reporting expectations, and influence SumUp partners to act.</p> <p><strong>As a Product Analyst, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with organizational leaders to identify informational needs</li> <li>Develop a deep understanding of specific areas of the business and the key metrics to drive data-driven performance measurement of product strategies</li> <li>Create KPIs based on business requirements and align them globally</li> <li>Generate reports (i.e., Tableau) and presentations on results findings to promote a data-driven organization</li> <li>Analyze data sets to spot trends and patterns that can be translated into actionable insights</li> <li>Collect data from different sources using SQL and assess the quality of the data</li> <li>Running product experiments by designing and analyzing AB tests</li> <li>Build Data Products together with Analytical Engineers, provide clear documentation and ensure the quality of the data models</li> <li>Present findings in an easy-to-understand way to inform data-driven decisions</li> <li>Build and maintain a strong communication network with key stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Profile: </strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in a similar role</li> <li>Strong SQL skills</li> <li>Experience with designing and analyzing experiments (A/B tests)</li> <li>Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar </li> <li>Experience with Tableau (or a similar visualization tool) </li> <li>Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences</li> <li>Self-driven and highly motivated with strong attention to accuracy and detail</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in an efficient manner</li> <li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills </li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Python or R  </li> <li>Experience with Git, Airflow</li> <li>DBT Experience</li> <li>Experience with Google Analytics (or similar web analytics tool)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why you should join SumUp </strong></p> <ul> <li>We’re a truly global team of 3000+ people from 60+ countries, spread across 3 continents.
