General Accountant, Beyond Yoga

Beyond Yoga operates as a standalone brand with the benefit of LS&Co.’s global capabilities to help it achieve its goals of brand-building, store opening, category expansion and distribution.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for the following areas:

• Cash

• Fixed Assets

• Leases

• Prepaids

• Deposits

• Other areas as the Company grows

Work cross functionally with department leaders to ensure their Operating expenses are correctly stated/prepare month end accruals for the following areas:

• Retail

• General Office

• Assist with internal and external audit requirements

• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required), CPA, MBA, or MAcc a plus 

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, 2+ years experience at Big 4 a plus

• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, Access 

• Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures & principles and GAAP requirements 

• Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and facilitate communication between various groups 

• Keen analytical skills to identify issues, propose potential solutions, and perform trend analysis 

• Capability to build relationships and collaborate internally and externally 

• Ability to work within tight deadlines

The expected starting salary range for this role is $66,500 - $104,800. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
