The Director of Food and Beverage forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel or Resort.  The Director manages the Food & Beverage Operation which includes all restaurants, bars & lounges, banqueting, room service and private bars. The primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, manage and develop a team, devise and monitor an annual budget, manage labor control and operating expenses and develop relationships with key suppliers and industry associates.

What We Look For:

• Currently in luxury standing or brand association in a Director of Food & Beverage role. In-depth knowledge of Food & Beverage product, service, and experience
• Already has experience leading the division within a luxury environment – will be directing a team including an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, andl multiple Department Head level roles.
• Strong skillset and desire for Forbes 5 Star/ AAA 5 Diamond level ratings and program implementations, and training simulations that have driven their division to that level
• Financial acumen: Independently decipher and present financial P&Ls/ Budgets/ Forecasts/ CapEx and related reporting
• F&B New Concept Openings/ Projects: Experienced in dealing with multi-faceted operational involvement from owners/ operators/ culinary/ marketing groups
• Experience with creating and driving luxury content through F&B Marketing Plan
• Strong people leadership skills with presence and connection and highly organized with both workspaces and equipment
• Ease with technology such as POS, PMS, MS Office 365, HotSos
• Remote island and CBA experience preferred however not required

Applicants are required to have five to seven years experience with a diversity of Food and Beverage management positions.  A college degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or business administration, or equivalent experience is required.

Some travel is required for training, conferences and special events.
