Junior Region Analyst (Onsite)

Overview:

The Jr. Region Analyst is responsible for evaluating the performance and opportunities within specific geographic areas, while also creating new and fixing current regional polygons. The Jr Region Analyst will support strategic decision-making for both sales and marketing by informing the Senior Regional Analyst of their findings and recommendations to improve existing region boundaries. This role will analyze data related to sales, market conditions, and consumer behavior to uncover insights that drive regional growth and efficiency.

The impact you'll make:

  • Establish brand regions across all U.S. states, excluding Michigan, California, and New York.
  • Define new sales territories to support go-to-market strategy, enabling focused sales efforts and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales and Marketing) to realign zip codes to appropriate core and brand regions in support of regional planning initiatives.
  • Analyze regional performance metrics—including sales data, market trends, and conversion activity—and present findings to the Senior Regional Analyst to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain and update regional dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators such as sessions, clicks, and conversions..
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to assess regional dynamics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and optimization opportunities across core, doctor, and brand regions.
  • Develop standardized processes for flagging local metric anomalies and initiating timely responses.
  • Seek approval from the Senior Regional Analyst prior to executing any regional modifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on capacity planning and opportunity sizing to support strategic initiatives.
  • Perform regional audits to validate product allocation, pricing accuracy, and coverage within existing and prospective markets.
  • Forecast market trends using historical data, economic indicators, and third-party intelligence to anticipate shifts in regional demand.
  • Deliver strategic insights & recommendations to Sr Analyst, grounded in quantitative & qualitative analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth research on markets, industry trends, or areas of emerging interest to inform business strategy.
  • Track timelines and provide project updates across SEO, Digital Marketing, Lifecycle, and Brand functions.
  • Manage project tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) to ensure accountability and transparency across deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to generate region-specific organic traffic reports and optimize for high-growth keyword opportunities.

What you've accomplished:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a strategy, analytics, business operations, or regional planning role
  • Strategic mindset with experience in territory planning, sales forecasting, and expansion strategy
  • Knowledge of client outreach workflows, region management, and activation tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Ability to interpret data sets and create clear visualizations/reports

Bonus points:

  • Experience with competitive intelligence and trend forecasting
  • Passion and/or experience in the cannabis industry 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field

The base pay range for this position is $70,694.00 - $81,492.00 per year
