Raytheon Field Engineering is currently seeking a Manager, Field Services, in Portsmouth, RI in support of the NATO Seasparrow Program. Duties would include coordinating all electrical and mechanical activities required to support the Naval Shipboard Combat System.
This role will be onsite in Portsmouth, RI.
What You Will Do
Support all the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for the NATO SEASPRROW equipment used for US Fleet support, Software development, Production support and the new product development. Role will support and maintain (repair, preventative maintenance, upgrade systems and new development) of the Evolved Seasparrow Missile (ESSM) and associated Launch Systems.
Other Duties associated with the Land Base Test Site (LBTS) at the RTX Portsmouth Facility, may include the following:
- Maintain Calibration of Test Equipment used by NATO Seasparrow.
- Shipping documentation and receiving material in and out of the LBTS.
- GFE inventory with the property control personnel.
- Quality Audits.
- Interface with Facilities, Security, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) & Leadership.
- Scheduling & contracting outside crane work & site work.
- Coordination with Facilities regarding infrastructure work at the LBTS (electrical, plumbing & site work).
- Participate as part of investigative teams that investigate system problem /failures.
- Interface with international Customers & Vendors.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 6 years of prior engineering experience. May use experience in lieu of education.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is preferred prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience with US Navy NATO Seasparrow System and/or MK73 System.
- Experience with Naval Shipboard Combat Systems.
- MK29 Guided Missile Launching system (GMLS) Domestic program experience.
- MK9 Tracker Illuminator systems experience.
- MK57 & OC2 Fire Control System (FCS) Domestic program experience.
- MK73 Solid State Transmitter (SSTX) Domestic & International Program experience.
- Experience interfacing with Customers & Vendors.
- Experience in electrical engineering of RF and Digital designs as well as integration and test.
Qualifications We Prefer
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related science degree.
- Experience in planning and execution of work products including detailed program plans, statements of work (SOW), schedules, budgets, and Integrated Master Plans (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Estimates at Completion (EAC).
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to align priorities appropriately.
