CNS Labs:
Tuesday and Wednesdays 10:15-11:05AM
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 1:00-1:50PM
Gross Anatomy I Labs:
Tuesday at 2:50-4:35PM
Friday at 10:15-12:05PM
Spinal Anatomy
Tuesday and Wednesday 2:50-4:25PM
Gross Anatomy II

Function:
The purpose of the Life Sciences TA is to assist the Faculty Instructor with lab activities that require help in the dry and wet labs.
Job Description:
The Teaching Assistant will carry out the following responsibilities:
Carry out the instruction of their assigned laboratories in a manner consistent with the wishes of the lead instructor for that class.
Attend orientation or training for lab assignments are required by their supervising lead instructor.
Participate in laboratory practicals. This will include the administration of the exam and may also include exam set-up, tear-down, and proctoring.
The TA will prepare for a lab in such a manner that they can not only teach the assigned material but also answer most reasonable questions that students may ask about the information.
The TA will help prepare labs with prosections, bones, opening tanks, using preservatives on donors, and closing and cleaning tanks/tables.
Qualifications:
Must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 to remain in the program.
Pass the course they are teaching with at least a “B”.

Student’s length of employment will be from the date of hire until termination either by student or the supervisor not to exceed the student’s graduation from Palmer College.
