Job Description

As a Senior Product Experience Designer, your core responsibilities help create apps that will define the next evolution of the Business Insights service. These apps will help customers to holistically understand and drive performance optimization, user experience, user behavior, and business impact.

As a Product Experience Designer, you’ll be at the intersection of user experience, user interface design, and data science. Your primary responsibility will be to interpret complex business needs and user insights and then use these to create streamlined workflows and engaging narrative experiences within our data visualization apps. This pivotal role aims to revolutionize how our users engage with and understand data through your well-crafted, visually appealing applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on top-priority topics that will help shape the future of the team.
  • Build our app experience design language from scratch by crafting desirable, viable, and feasible solutions that are accessible and intuitive
  • Work closely with the engineering team to realize your vision as you evaluate tech constraints, understand, and work around dependencies, tech requirements, user requirements, and the related impact on the product’s user experience
  • Be hands-on to visualize, prototype, test, and measure design solutions – e.g., with information architecture, user flows, wireframes, mockups, user testing with surveys and interviews, usability heuristics, user-centred metrics, etc
  • Act as a customer advocate while continuously partnering with lead product managers, software/data engineers, data scientists, and other design practitioners to help bring our product value to both our internal and external customers

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience and a demonstrated track record of designing, shipping, and iterating digital software products and systems — not just websites or campaigns. Big bonus if you have solid experience working on Enterprise Software.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Your strengths and interests lie in UX design but also in the creation of beautiful, accessible interfaces.
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate design decisions and processes.
  • You’re passionate about building, prototyping, and continually evolving digital products throughout the product lifecycle while engaging in user testing sessions for your designs and synthesizing feedback to actionable changes.
  • You have proficiency in design software (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar).
  • You’re an excellent collaborator - adapting to user and internal stakeholder feedback.

Please apply with a cover letter, your resume and portfolio in English. Ideally, please include a link to an online portfolio showing a few selected projects you worked on in the past — clearly outlining the problems and/or business opportunities taken on with your work, as well as your role and specific responsibilities as part of a multidisciplinary team. That should mostly touch on the process applied to find solutions and overcome obstacles rather than focusing just on visual polish and final deliverables.
