PLC Controls Engineering Contractor

This role will be a hybrid position but would ideally like this person located close to our Englewood, Colorado or Loveland, Ohio facility

Role Overview:

Beehive Industries is looking for an energetic and driven PLC controls engineer to support the development of cutting-edge test systems.  This role will bring PLC experience to a cross-functional team to support the design and implement of controls on a Beckhoff PLC system for multiple subsystems and communication systems, including safety critical controls.

Key Responsibilities:

-              Implementation of system logic using TwinCat software for Beckhoff PLC

-              Support team in risk and safety assessments relating to PLC implementation

-              Support team in properly defining safety critical controls architecture

-              Support team in defining communication and timing capabilities

Desired Qualifications:

-             2+ year of experience implementing controls on industrial PLCs.

-             2+ year of experience designing safety critical control circuits on industrial control systems.

-              Experience using TwinCat software and Beckhoff PLCs.

-              Bachelors degree

-              Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

-              Demonstrated problem solving ability and execution skills.
