Key Responsibilities:
- Press Brake Operations: Expertly bend heavy materials, including pipes up to 3/4", with precision and efficiency.
- Plate Rolling: Master the art of rolling plates up to 3/8" thick using state-of-the-art rollers.
- Blueprint Mastery: Skillfully interpret blueprints to determine tooling and procedures for complex bending operations.
- Tooling Expertise: Select appropriate tools tailored to each material to ensure top-quality results.
- Precision Setup: Calibrate back gauges with accuracy to streamline bending processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Expertise: Solid experience as a sheet metal mechanic in a heavy industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced ability to operate press brakes, plate rollers, and interpret blueprints.
- Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
- Tooling Knowledge: Familiarity with selecting and utilizing the right tools for various materials.
- Setup Savvy: Experience in calibrating back gauges for accurate operations.
- Professionalism: Commitment to excellence and adherence to safety standards, including passing a pre-employment drug test and/or background check.
