We value our culture as a key foundation of the way we work together and how we hold each other accountable.

About the Role

The Strategic Field Program Lead role is a high visibility role with a focus on driving the set of strategic presales field initiatives integral to Workday’s next chapter of growth. Reporting to the North America VP of Presales for Large Enterprise & Industries, this strategic program management role will be responsible for leading the field-focused Presales programs to implement programs focused on improving Presales effectiveness and ability to scale. The program manager will partner with the program sponsor to set program objectives and goals and be responsible for overall program execution including managing program plans, tracking issues and risks, ensuring deliverables are completed and effective and measuring success both quantitatively and qualitatively.

The role requires extensive organizational, management and communication skills given the cross-organizational nature of the programs and team members involved. The Program Manager must understand field sales operations and the Presales role within field sales and have the confidence and resourcefulness to manage diverse and dispersed team members to advance programs and achieve objectives. Facilitating discussions to identify, analyze and resolve issues and drive the required actions and deliverables is critical.

Given the rapid pace of change and innovation in Presales and the flexibility and adaptability required for these programs, the program manager must always be anticipating different alternatives and options to support our ever-changing environment. In parallel, the program manager must always be evaluating and gathering input and feedback to adjust and improve in-flight programs.
