About the role

Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $200B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

About the Role

Dandy is transforming the dental lab through supply chain excellence and groundbreaking innovation. We are redefining how high-volume, completely-custom restorative products are designed and manufactured, setting a new standard in the industry with superior quality and unmatched turnaround times.

Our success is built on a foundation of cutting-edge supply chain systems that seamlessly connect every part of the business—from checkout to design to production. Our manufacturing and design systems empower our teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for our dentists, at scale.

We're hiring a Principal Product Manager to help develop our production planning, scheduling, orchestration, and execution systems. In this role, you will contribute to the vision, strategy, and execution of mission-critical systems that will help us scale our supply chain efficiently and meet customer demand. You will collaborate closely with our design, manufacturing, and sales & operations planning (S&OP) teams to deliver solutions that streamline workflows, improve visibility, enhance on-time delivery (OTD), and optimize production performance.

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation in our supply chain operations and make a significant impact on our business. If you have a passion for manufacturing systems and operational technology, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Product development at Dandy is an extremely collaborative effort, with multiple teams composed of UX, Engineering, and Product Management empowered to solve the most important problems for the business at large. As a Senior Product Manager you will:

  • Collaborate on the development of our manufacturing execution systems (MES), production planning, and scheduling systems to support efficient design and manufacturing operations.

  • Build deep empathy for operational users by understanding their workflows and pain points, ensuring our solutions meet their needs.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, S&OP, and sales teams, to ensure seamless integration between planning and production execution.

  • Drive product development initiatives, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and subsequent iterations.

  • Develop expertise in manufacturing workflows, production orchestration, and planning processes, applying industry best practices to our solutions.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to define detailed product requirements, collaborating to deliver high-quality, scalable software.

  • Use data to guide decision-making, validate assumptions, and measure the success of your initiatives.

  • Communicate clearly with teams and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of context, goals, and progress.

  • Integrate qualitative and quantitative research, data, and market insights into roadmaps and product requirements.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for strategic product thinkers who have experience delivering solutions in operationally complex environments. Ideally, you are comfortable navigating both technical and operational challenges and can manage competing priorities while keeping the end-user's needs at the center.

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with background in manufacturing, factory floor systems, or supply chain technology preferred.

  • Experience with production systems, manufacturing workflows, or supply chain technologies.

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with engineering, design, and operational teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and able to define solutions for complex problems.

  • High bias for action—you are resourceful, proactive, and excel at breaking down barriers to get things done.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.

  • Customer-focused mindset and the ability to empathize with operational users, designing intuitive workflows that address real-world challenges
