Description:

The Technology Specialist I – Service Desk keeps count of technology products and supplies, ensures that IT inventory remains balanced, restocks supplies, assists in maintaining inventory records, and provides customer assistance as necessary.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains physical inventory of computers and peripherals
• Packs items for shipment and creates shipping labels
• Reviews shipping and receiving documents for accuracy
• Moves and restructures organization of stockroom to make space for new inventory
• E-Cycles all end of life technology in accordance with policy

Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 6 months experience with basic troubleshooting for a range of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and ChromseOS

 

Location:  In office.

Hybrid/Remote option may be considered with Management approval.

 

Travel Requirements:   

Less than 5% (almost no travel)

 

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

 

Frequent:              Sitting, walking, eye/hand/foot coordination and repetitive motion.

Occasional:         Standing and bending.

Infrequent:           Lifting up to 20-50 pounds.
