AR Staff Accountant

Position Summary:

The AR Staff Accountant position will require a “hands-on” mentality to meet the needs of a fast-paced North American finance organization. The AR Staff Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day and month-end close of the Accounts Receivable department.

Responsibilities:

• Sending invoices and credit memos daily to customers

• Communication with customers, including collection of payments

• Prepare Intercompany invoicing to other Trend Micro entities

• Prepare routine accrual and reclassification entries

• Maintain journal entry related documentation

• Assist with month-end close activities including preparation of closing journal entries, account reconciliations, and post-closing reports

• Filing and Scanning documents

• Provide support for internal and external auditors

• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 2+ years of related Accounting/Accounts Receivable experience required.

• Basic understanding of accounting rules and practice.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

• Self starter, with ability to work independently and with a team with excellent planning and organizational skills.

• Team player who can interact well with any level of management or employee.

• Proven ability to complete tasks with constrained deadlines.
