Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.

In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.

In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or its equivalent
  • 1 year experience working in a specialty, retail, or central pharmacy
  • registered with the State of Florida as a Pharmacy Technician
  • knowledge of Pharmacy business practices and Publix Pharmacy operations in local stores
  • knowledge of pharmacy and healthcare laws, rules and operating policies and procedures (e.g., HIPAA)
  • the ability and willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion when working
  • the ability and willingness to adjust one's style or approach in response to differing circumstances or to work in ambiguous situations
  • the ability to work productively and effectively when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures
  • the ability to perform arithmetic computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division correctly using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • the ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents or on the computer, such as prices, quantity, weights, lists or data
