We believe skills and experience are transferrable, and the desire to dream big makes for great candidates.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>What you get to do in this role:</strong><strong>  </strong> </p><ul><li>Ensure a high degree of accuracy and quality during testing activities related to the product lifecycle (feature testing, smoke tests, regressions, bug hunts, etc.)</li><li>Maintain and contribute to the expansion existing automation test frameworks and find ways to improve the current toolset</li><li>Collect and report quality metrics from test execution and inform stakeholders about risk and impact</li><li>Work with developers and the Product team to design and align on specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them</li><li>Create comprehensive test plans; execute and automate them</li><li>File defects and provide help to the team to understand the erroneous behavior of the application under test</li><li>Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments</li><li>Inspire others to have a “Quality first” mentality and guide them when needed</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>To be successful in this role you have:</strong></p><ul><li>4+ years of experience within Quality Assurance, with a focus on Automation</li><li>Solid knowledge of Java programming with Selenium, JUnit and TestNG</li><li>Fluency with scripting in JavaScript or similar languages and stacks (e.g. NodeJS)</li><li>Experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jenkins, Maven, and Git</li><li>Thorough knowledge and understanding of various testing types (e.g. integration, end-to-end, scenario/flow, edge-case and boundary testing), their strengths and weakness and ability to use them to their best effect given the task at hand</li><li>Ability to use tools (such as IDE, build tools, source control, virtualization software, profilers, system administration and Unix/MacOS tools) to assist with daily tasks</li><li>Experience in contributing to cross-team technical discussions with an understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum concepts</li><li>ISTQB Foundation Level (or better) certification preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>ServiceNow is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
