This position works out of our Plymouth, MN location in the Structural Heart division. Structural Heart Business Mission: Why We Exist 

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This position is a part of Structural Heart’s Strategic sourcing and category management team within supply chain. This position is responsible for driving gross margin improvement through negotiation, supplier transfer projects, and supplier process improvement. This position is responsible for assessing supplier risks, develop and implement supplier resiliency actions. This position manages core categories, segments and selects strategic suppliers globally, negotiates large complex supply agreements, develops supply chain commodity management strategies, prepares cost-benefit analysis, negotiates and manages contracts, and manages supplier relations. Additionally, this position needs to work directly with Global Procurement, Program Management, NPI, Legal, Finance, and manufacturing sites to create an effective supply chain for new and on market products.
