About this job:
Accountability for leading and managing strategically focused, district wide technology projects. Influences district decision-making for priorities, support structures and resource allocation. Leads the execution, maintenance, projects' implementation, change management, and cross-functional alignment of workstreams. Primary emphasis on technical implementations, such as integrations, business information systems, infrastructure, and security.

- Salary Range $93,744 - $114,819.

• Designs, implements and monitors complex, large-scale projects, in alignment with organizational values, the District’s strategic roadmap and initiatives
• Collaborates with department leadership team and other senior leaders throughout the organization, to develop the vision and strategy for large-scale district initiatives; develops options and recommendations based on feedback from a diverse group of stakeholders
• Tracks program milestones and provides ongoing updates to the project team; gathers quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate program effectiveness throughout the lifecycle of the project to inform course corrections; proactively identifies and mitigates risks
• Establishes and cultivates relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to inform program deliverables
• Partners with the Communications team to develop comprehensive communications strategies to ensure broad awareness and buy-in
• Leads change management efforts to facilitate project implementation
• Serves as the subject matter expert on assigned projects
• Researches and identifies effective practices that have been implemented in other school districts and organizations at the local and national level to inform program design
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Master's Degree - Preferred
- Three (3+) plus years managing and/or supporting complex projects, including planning, estimating/budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, expectation management, scope and issue management with complex business and IT projects. - Required
- Ability to assess appropriate priorities and organize workload on multiple assignments
- Experience and proficiency with and use of Google Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Communicate diplomatically, persuasively, effective oral, written and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in a credible and confident manner at all levels in the organization, both orally and in writing
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals, establish priorities, and organize resources
- Ability to provide creative, solution-oriented support to complex situations
